Orangewood

Ordered the guitar for my son and was delivered promptly. It was setup with a very low action which is essential for beginners. The only issue was a buzz on the open G string caused by a low-cut nut groove on that string only. Easily remedied with a small folded piece of paper under that groove. New nut will be cut later. Overall a very good value for the money given that the guitar has a solid top and electronics. I highly recommend it as a first guitar. To be honest I've played high end guitars right out of the box that required extensive work to make them playable

Highly playable and impressively good quality instrument.

Wasn't sure what to expect when ordering a musical instrument for such a low price. After all, the craftsmanship in a sub-$500 guitar is going to be suspect, right? Not with Orangewood! This is a clearly well-made musical instrument and I could not be happier with my "first" guitar selection.

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
