Beginner

Just started teaching myself about a month and a half ago with a right hand a guitar strung for a left-handed person. It was a very old cheap guitar. But it got me started. The Oliver I bought has a sound so much crisper and more fun to play!

Excellent Quality and Sound

Looks great, sounds great- my son is left handed- I'm glad we found such a great guitar for him without taking second mortgage :). Highly recommended!

Astonishing. .Esp. at this price point.

I am 74, have played for > 50 yrs. Own c. 70 gtrs. After getting Oliver, got Gibson
1939 L-55 Custom Shop. (5 k list). Both tuned to G, I put dn Gibby, picked up
Oliver & played. DID NOT NOTICE CHANGE FOR c. 10 min. BTW. I love the L-55 and am glad I got it. I'm just sayin'...

Top Wood Guide

Spruce

A classic tonewood for acoustic guitars, spruce is a well-rounded, durable wood that’s suitable for many styles of playing.

Torrefied Spruce

A vintage-inspired upgrade, torrefied spruce is roasted to remove excess moisture, so the guitar continues to play at peak performance.

Mahogany

A common tonewood for top, back, and sides, Mahogany is known for its clarity and evenness to accentuate the mid-range tones.

Cedar

An excellent topwood for classical guitars, cedar is perfect for delicate playing styles, like fingerpicking and soft strumming.
